Diester Based Fluids
History is behind diesters. More air compressors today
run on diesters than any other synthetic. Built-in detergency
results in longer lasting parts; reduces or eliminates
oil separator varnishing and plugging and sticking valves.
The SX32, SX46, and SX68 are formulated for long life
in rotary screw type compressors. SX46 is designed for
cold temperature use where compressors are exposed to
ambient temperatures below 30°F. SX100 and SX150 are formulated
for upper cylinder and crankcase lubrication of reciprocating
units. SX100 is ideal for use in sliding vane units as
well.
PAO Synthetic Hydrocarbon Oils
PSI's six synthetic hydrocarbon compressor oils are PX32,
PX46, PX68, PX100, FG32 and FG46. Although the diester-based
oils have a long history of successful applications in
this area, the PAO (polyalphaolefin) based oils are gaining
wide acceptance due primarily to the compatibility of
these oils with paints, seals, and elastomers.
PAOs (H-2)
PAO based compressor oils, unlike esters, are compatible
with a wide variety of paints, elastomers, and seals.
Use where maximum plastic compatibility is required
such as plastic airstream piping or separator bowls.
Food Grade (H-1)
USDA H-1 FG32 and FG46 are authorized for use in meat
and poultry processing plants where incidental contact
with food may occur.
Meets all requirements under FDA Regulation 21 CFR
172.878 and 178.3570
Non-detergent
PG - Polyglycol Coolants for Rotary
Screw Compressors
Unlike many other rotary screw synthetic compressor
oils these lubricants have been developed from a unique
blend of polyglycol and esters which together form an
exceptional coolant and act to reduce oxidation and
deposit formation. PG2000 and PG3200 will actually act
as a detergent and clean and dissolve residual petroleum
product deposits. This in effect, eliminates the maintenance
you would expect on a varnished-up compressor. These
oils offer excellent heat transfer properties, long
life, high flash points, low evaporation, low volatility,
and excellent hydrolytic stability.

PSI NP Mineral Oils
PSI NP Oils are premium compressor lubricants formulated
to protect against rust and oxidation. They offer long
service life and protect against sludge and varnish
formation, even at high operating temperatures. They
also separate readily from water. PSI NP Oils possess
high natural viscosity indices from the quality paraffinic
base oils from which they are blended. This prevents
them from thinning out excessively at high temperatures
and from becoming overly thick at low temperatures.
The inherent oxidation resistance of paraffinic oils,
combined with special inhibitors, provide excellent
thermal stability.

PSI ATF Rotary Fluid
PSI ATF is a new generation petroleum
based fluid which provides superior wear protection.
To meet specific compressor lubrication demands PSI
ATF includes a "new generation" complex additive system.
Specially selected friction modifiers allow friction
retention for long life performance necessary to meet
compressor requirements.
